Eventage

I often work with Eventage - who organise medical conferences - to create a range of graphic materials, from logos and watermarks to lectern panels and slide templates.

Each design involves a close collaboration with the client to bring their vision to life.

The following images demonstrate my process in designing a logo for the IPCRG (International Primary Care Respiratory Group) - in alignment with their brand identity and the conference location (Malaga, Spain).

To gain an understanding of the client's vision, we first put together moodboards. This helps translate, solidify and inspire ideas.

I then began to iterate - playing with different shapes and patterns - using the moodboard as a reference to bring life to the concept.

I continually go back and forth with the client throughout this process, letting them drive the design's direction.

After numerous iterations, and a close collaboration with the client, I ended up with a simple logo which would be repeated in various forms across different conference materials.

While the last few images talk to one specific example, I tend to follow this process whenever I work with Eventage.

I enjoy visual design, with this work acting as a fun side hustle to my every day job!

I use a various design tools and softwares to complete this work.

Historically I used Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop from start to finish - with a little Mural to collaborate with the client - however I find myself doing most of the work now in Figma, whilst occasionally transitioning to Adobe for more advanced formatting and print ready materials.
